Its bittering characteristics can be best described as assertive and resinous. Admiral is a wonderful resinous hop with a relatively high alpha characteristic and excellent dry hop aroma qualities.

Admiral was released in 1996 by Horticulture Research International (HRI) at Wye College in the UK and derived from Northdown and Challenger breeding lines.
